Soho House & Co was founded in London, in 1995, as a private members’ club for those in film, media and creative industries. They have since expanded to include Houses across Europe, North and South America, as well as restaurants, cinemas, spas, workspaces and hotels. Soho House is a place for their diverse membership to connect, create, collaborate, grow, have fun, and make an impact. From the beginning, and throughout their 25-year history, their members have always been at the heart of everything they do.

The Brief

SoHo House’s expansion into becoming a worldwide brand has not come without growing pains. With each new location came new personnel, additional IT requirements, printing equipment, software and supplies all requiring greater IT resources. Their goal was to have a centralized managed print services solution so they could drive better efficiency and lower overall costs. Not an easy task with so many locations, but TEAM Solutions Group stepped up.

The Research and Analytics

What TSG confirmed was SoHo House was in need of a strategy to ensure each of its locations would operate similarly and efficiently. An onsite walkthrough by TSG at each location and an inventory of equipment led to a TekTrak analysis, which generated a financial and operational overview of all of SoHo House’s locations. Many of SoHo House’s locations had several different brands of printers, several different models of each brand and several different contracts.

The Collaboration

Like Soho House & Co., TSG is all about creativity and collaboration. TSG did the “heavy lifting” working with Soho House & Co. by generating and presenting a business case including a value proposition to SoHo House & Co.’s financial and IT departments. Each location was reviewed collaboratively in regards to the associated costs, benefits and increase in productivity. TSG created a custom national managed print services solution specific to SoHo House & Co.’s needs.

The Solution

SoHo House & Co. now counts on TSG to manage, monitor and oversee service of its printer fleet at all locations across United States. The savings have come to SoHo House & Co. by eliminating redundant assets to oversold and underutilized equipment, reducing color output and a cost containment for its supply program. Most importantly, TSG generated a cohesive concept for all SoHo House & Co.’s locations so they will operate as one and the same.

The Results

TSG’s MPS program reduced Soho House & Co.’s printing expenses by over 30%, provided automated supply management and immediate remote IT support, which allowed IT to focus on critical projects. In addition, all equipment, service and supplies are billed on single simple monthly invoice nationally.

 Accountability

Fleet performance is monitored live and performance reports via Power BI are generated instantly to review performance, prolong reliability and assist in long-term strategic planning.
