The Brief
The “Caterpillar” name originated in 1904 by inventor Benjamin Holt in Stockton, CA. They sell, rent and service a variety of heavy equipment including Construction Tractors, Agricultural Equipment, Forklifts, Racking Systems, Telescopic Handlers, Prime and Stand-by-Power Generation, UPS Systems and On-Highway Truck Engines. 1,100+ employees work for HOLT of CA and over the past 10 years they have added 20+ locations. Holt’s IT department managed everything from A-Z as it pertained to their growing printer fleet of over 230+ devices across a WAN. The company’s rapid growth and integration of new facilities and staff was time consuming. Print driver management was nearly impossible due to ever changing models, rapid growth and corporate controls.
The Collaboration
TSG proposed a direct and secure print solution from PrinterLogic. We coordinated demonstrations, reviewed SaaS versus Web stack options, all via remote meetings with their IT department.

Over the last 10 years TSG developed a close and trusted relationship with HOLT’s IT department and in 2021 installed a direct and secure print cloud solution. TSG assisted throughout the entire implementation process.
